I am confused- I only saw part of the debate. I thought Trump said it was a CIVIL case and this article says it is a federal case????
If you read the article it might become more apparent to you. The first sentence says, “The plaintiffs and defense attorneys in the case both have listed Trump on their witness lists recently submitted to the court.” If it was a criminal case it would say the PROSECUTOR and defense attorneys. This is just a lawsuit where people want to get money. Since most schools these days do nothing but indoctrinate and not educate... probably 90% of graduates from almost every school could sue with just as much merit.
