I think he’d be a great AG. Don’t think he’s best for VP. I like NEWT for that.

Truthfully, Christie has taken a lot of crap about his weight. Probably mostly launched by people who could stand to forgo a few cheeseburgers themselves. One doctor estimated he’d lost 100 pounds, which is really significant no matter who you are.

Rush’s function lies within the establishment. It is to allow blowing off steam without putting the power structure at risk. Rush avoids many important issues by labeling them kooky, and he has been known to give establishment hacks (e.g., Arlen Specter) time on air to promote falsehood that tended to preserve the existing order.

He’s right and also about Rubio abandoing his duty to Florida by starting to run for President before he’d even completed his first term in the Senate. Same applies to Cruz.

I agree. I’ve had to watch my weight all my life. I’ve been at a fairly good weight for a number of years, but have to watch it. I have family members who are a bit over weight and really struggle. People don’t realize that some have thyroid, metabolism and/or other issues. It’s not always just a matter of eating the wrong things or not exercising enough, etc.
Chris got a big grin when Trump said that.

Well that was fun! Now I’m really looking forward to the next few weeks, and to see “ole Marco” get what’s coming to him. Christie really earned my admiration for the way he put him on the ropes and I only hope we get to see him do it again.
Yes AG for Christie. There are better options for VP.
