**** “I watched the video... And I am shocked... Cruz came out and said he prefers Rubio to Trump.
Open borders Gang of 8 Rubio...” ****
Yeah he could have went Full Retard and just lied like a typical Politician.
Cruz lost his #1 spot with me, but he is still #2 and he is my Senator and Light-years ahead of Cornyn for my support.
And anyone is surprised? Cruz is a DC Uni-Party Politician. We are just rubes to his Elmer Gantry.
Me too.
Dear Texas...can you say, “open borders?
Shame on me? For what? For now falling on my knees and prostrating myself before your god “the hair”?
Trump will not have my support. He is a despicable human being.
In the words of Dana Carvey: “Not gonna do it. Wouldn’t be prudent.”
I read it the opposite - not a deal but a strategy.
Cruz (my first choice) claimed that Trump (my second choice but Cruz’s greatest rival) was not as good as Rubio (completely unacceptable pro-Amnesty traitor).
I saw this as one of many steps, trying to appeal to Rubio voters and knock out the real competition in his last shot at the nomination this year. I believe he failed, but I don’t believe it was part of a deal. If Cruz made any deal, I would expect him to deal with Trump and to agree to stay in and split the anti-Trump vote so Rubio cannot go one-on-one with the biased media uniting behind a single campaign narrative.
That’s just my opinion. Those who have chosen to hate Cruz (97% to 100% conservative rating and one of the top four US Senators, regardless of which conservative organization rates him) will see his comment the same as they see every other Cruz story - probably including his choice of breakfast cereal - as proof that Cruz is the worst thing since Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, and bad breath.
"Marco and I"
Versus Trump.
Outsider versus insiders.
Possibly, without thinking carefully before he said it, he declared himself and Marco a virtual "team".
That may well reside, in the voter mind, as political/ideological equivalents.
Without being snarky, I confess that statement literally made me stop what I was doing and rewind the DVR to see if I'd heard wrong.
If nothing else, it was a grave, tactical/verbal error.
I could stand voting for Cruz, if I had to but Rubio is wholly unacceptable.
Who has the video where where McCain says Obama would be a good president?
So, a Bush II administration insider endorses the GOPe’s last chance candidate.
How predictable.
“A lot of Cruz supporters felt that way because they thought Cruz was as good or better than Trump about stopping the invasion.”
For him to come out with that just before Super Tuesday, it begs the question: What happened to Cruz’s much-heralded brilliance? Coming out for Rubio like that is insane. He must have been rattled, knocked off balance, by the debate.
“Cruz has hit a new low.”
Wonder how daddy Levin will take it. He doesn’t like Rubio. Wonder how Rush will try to spin this away for Cruz. He thinks Cruz is a god.
The people who have no idea what’s in Trump’s immigration plan are the Cruz supporters. They demonstrate their ignorance of it daily.
The headline uses “will endorse” not “endorsed”.
Not much else can be implied by what Cruz said.
“...because I want to buy the best product available in the world, then call me a globalist.”
But you have to have a job in order to have any money.
One thing that isn't mentioned is when Cruz said he'd be best about nominating better SC judges. What he said is he only strongly supported Roberts AFTER the nomination. In other words, isn't he saying he caved and followed his master GWB's lead? That doesn't speak well for Cruz as a principled leader who stands his ground.
When NBC started their interview with Rubio, I switched to ABC and Rubio was being interviewed there, so I switched to CBS and Rubio was being interviewed there also. I turned the TV off.
‘”Not gonna do it. Wouldn’t be prudent.”’
That’s what Cruz should have said in lieu of pumping GOPe, open borders, wholesale-amnesty hack Rubio.
pumping = pimping
Auto-correct.
Cruz? My gosh, CNN let him talk away in the interview after the debate. Cruz has issues, and not just citizenship ones. JMHO
Ted is the one constantly telling lies, half truths, and misrepresentations. And it’s dragging him down.
