Ya, wir brauchen einen Fuehrer.

Nice NAZI reference. Hang out at DU lately? Achtung. Ihre blinde Unterstutzung fur Ted Cruz macht Sie so verzweifelt, dass Sie sich wie ein liberaler klingen. Ja?

Ich bin doch kein DU’er.

I have not yet decided who is the best candidate ... and the candidates, all of them, are not helping me much. My point is simply this, many of the followers of some of the candidates - I will let you fill in the blanks - seem entirely blind to their chosen candidate’s flaws, flaws that will be obvious in the general election campaigning. The Trumpkins are no exceptions to this observation, but they seem, to me, the ones least self-aware. Donald is not Ronald. Would that he were. On the other hand, none of the others is Ronald either. All are flawed in different ways. That is more than obvious. However, in this election emotions are running high, and emotions, it would seem, will decide the matter. That alone scares me. It has happened before in history; and seldom did it turn out well.

Nations tend to get the leadership they deserve, which is, like it or not, why we have the current abomination in the White House. I would like to think that this time we will get something not only better, but much better. But I am skeptical.

Hillary is as corrupt and self-serving as any politician has ever been. Bernie is living and thinking in a parallel universe completely unconnected to reality. And meanwhile the Republicans destroy each other ... and the top three, Trump, Cruz, and Rubio, are all guilty. All of them have used dirty tricks against the others. All are guilty. So, sorry, it rather sickens me that the Trumpkins act as if the Donald is above it all. Bulls**t. He does his dirty deeds in forums other than debates - clever but in the end unscrupulous, and his supporters conveniently ignore this and project it onto others (a Clinton tactic, by the way). But, finally, he is as much a disgrace as the rest. And all of them are busy simply handing ammunition to the party of corruption for the campaign of general election. So, if by their self-imposed mutually assured destruction, they hand the election to either the most corrupt politician in America, the PIAPS, or the most self-deluded politician in America, the Bern (or Burned-out), how are they any better than Mitt or McCain?
