I know from the comments section many people have discussed how bizarre the recent ravings of Rush Limbaugh have become. However, I had not spent time listening to them, until this happened.
As far as I can tell this was actually broadcast by Rush Limbaugh yesterday. To say he’s contracted a viral strain of election cycle cognitive dissonance would be a severe understatement. Listen to this logic:
I know from the comments section many people have discussed how bizarre the recent ravings of Rush Limbaugh have become. However, I had not spent time listening to them, until this happened.
As far as I can tell this was actually broadcast by Rush Limbaugh yesterday. To say he’s contracted a viral strain of election cycle cognitive dissonance would be a severe understatement. Listen to this logic:
If Ted Cruz wants to win he’s got to focus exclusively on attacking Trump. Why? Because Cruz has to realize Marco Rubio is not going to drop out. If Rubio is not going to drop out, Rubio is not the obstacle – Trump is…
See if you can follow this logic. Marco Rubio is not going to leave the race, therefore it is the better course to attack the stronger frontrunner because, well, according to the Limbaugh logic, Trump winning in all the contests must mean he is positioned to leave the race – or something.
Seriously, this is what Rush Limbaugh is presenting to his audience. This makes absolutely ZERO sense. This is completely nonsensical. This is epic level moonbattery.
What makes Limbaugh think Donald Trump, a candidate who has won three consecutive resounding victories, is less disposed to staying in the presidential race than a freshman senator who has won absolutely no primary contests?
…And if Trump is no less committed to exit, then how does it make more sense to spend time trying to eliminate the stronger of the two candidate options?
We have heard rumors there are times when ineffective “gaslighting” can lead to absolutely insane expressions of logic. It would appear this rumor is profoundly true.
People pay this guy to hear this stuff?

Very dishonest. Accuse Sundance of something he never said, and then call him a dunce for believing what he doesnât believe. Quote from Sundance in article: "Why is Dorian Johnson allowed to get away with denying his physical involvement in attacking Darren Wilson?"
Because Sundance's brain dead conspiracy theory that Dorian Johnson did assault Darren Wilson is contradicted by Darren Wilson's grand jury testimony. There are only two possibilities here: 1) Darren Wilson committed perjury or 2) Sundance is retarded. Clearly I believe the latter.

I said Rush has had multiple marriages and a drug habit. There was no accusation made or even attempted. Those are facts. An adult would have understood the point I made that he is a hypocrite if he wants Trump bashed on character.

Are you joking? BTW, “most others have” is false.
Further, I don’t think ANYONE should have to furnish their tax returns to the public. That’s a class warfare tactic of the Liberal-Left and NOT a “conservative value” whatever the hell that means now that the sorry-ass Republican Party has destroyed the meaning of “conservatism” forever.

Itâs an opinion piece predacated on an clueless interpretation of misrepresented fact.So who are you faulting, Rush, sundance, or Shapiro?
To: Fantasywriter
Getting personal eh? Always the last bastion of someone getting their a$$ kicked in a debate.
Also a tactic well established by Trump himself and his cadre of Trumpophiles.
To: smoothsailing
I think that’s pretty obvious.

It must be some kind of emotional appeal. When a candidate has an emotional appeal, I always miss the boat. I just donât get worked up by politicians of any stripe. So I am always left in the position of trying to use logic to talk somebody out of a position they did not arrive at logically. This is, needless to say, impossible. It is absolutely emotion based which is what brought us Obama worship. Now we have Trump worship and I'm not into it.
I vote based on principles and not emotion or the "revenge factor".

Any criticism of Trump on FR is shouted down. When articles that don’t praise his name are posted the authors are shredded. I’m most certainly talking about FR.

Sundance argued that Johnson was on the scene during the struggle. Johnson said he was elsewhere. It comes down to disputing Johnson’s whereabouts at the beginning of the struggle.

“So according to you, Rush read the article without giving his listeners even a hint as to WHY he was reading it?
Do you even believe that yourself?”
Of course. His show is an opinion/analysis/entertainment venue. He often reads articles (many of which he doesn’t agree)for open discussion.
I have no idea why you find this so incredulous. It would be a pretty boring show if he only discussed articles he neccessarily agreed with.
The problem with this article by “sundance” is he attributed the Shapiro’s article to Rush and then went on further to chastize Rush for believing it to be true.
A total “straw man” argument if there ever was one.

Sundance’s articles are extraordinarily researched and documented.
The Cruznadians avoid truth like vampires avoid holy water.

Pointing out that you take far too many posts to contribute nothing substantive is personal? You have to be kidding.
