The fact that the media had him bottled up tighter than "I Dream of Jeannie" before Trump got into the race doesn't mean anything, either.

Name me a Republican Senator who has accomplished more than Cruz during Obama’s term.

Let’s see . . . option #1 = go along to get along with GOP-e or
option #2 = try to talk Mitch and the GOP-e into doing what is right and getting out of their cozy nest or
option #3 cooperate like Rubio tried to do with the slime balls in the Gang of 8,
or option #4 be straight up and just call BS on all of it and filibuster with no support.
You might have some others options, but calling Mitch a liar and trying to filibuster bad bills is fine with me.

At least Cruz has tried. At least he did take stands.
Where was Trump while we were fighting the good fight on countless issues? What was he doing?
Supporting the Dems with his money.
Pushing a hard liberal agenda every chance he got.
Attacking the sitting GOP President, calling for his impeachment.
While we fought the good fight, while Senator Cruz was fighting the good fight, against his own party leadership, Trump was either silent or on the opposing side.
How about before Cruz was a senator?
He fought tirelessly for our cause, and won numerous times.
Trump? Once again, on the wrong side of the issues. The wrong side of history.
Pushing partial birth abortion, homosexual equality, universal healthcare, eminent domain for private use, just to name a few.
You’ll say I’m lying, that’s the easiest way to deflect the truth. But you really need to sit and examine rationally who it is you are backing with such fervor.
But if you really want to compare records, I’ll do that all day long, and prove to you over and over and over how terrible Donald J. Trump is compared to how awesome Ted Cruz is.
