How true it is. Defaming one of the most conservative people in the Senate over a liberal hack is unbelievable and personally unforgivable.
FR has been infiltrated by some liberal hacks that have taken FR down a different road then what most believe the Boss intended it to go.

He refuses to sue. Why sit there and even bother trying to defeat someone ineligible for the Presidency when the much simpler task would be to take him out in court. Prove he is ineligible to hold the office.

What he promised to do as a US Senator was to go to DC and fight the DC Cartel and he did that tooth and nail. He called the liars out by name. By name, not calling them "my friend", by name. That is what he promised to me, the one who voted for him from Texas. The one who said, Senator run for President, we need you to bring back America as millions of others did and others did here on FR.
But he took an oath to serve as a Senator,
No, he took an oath of office not much different than the military oath to defend the US against harm from outside and within and to execute that oath honorably. Not to serve out a TERM. No where in the oath does it say he has to be in a chair for 6 years, BB.
Senator Cruz received enough requests from people like me and others from the US to run and he did.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate (even if he's "rich enough to do it on his own") as the next President.
I donate to the candidate I support and you should too, else, your "support" really doesn't have any meaning.
It's even worse if you use FR and don't donate. If you are one of those who feel it's OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit. Also, don't be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren't worth listening to.
PS - If you are one of those unlucky few who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....
Assuming what you said was true (it is not, just another lie) let’s look at where you landed.
You found Cruz to be nothing but a worm.
Nothing but a sack of filth whom blows whichever way will get him elected.
You discount his solid stances on abortion, family values, limited government, fiscal responsibility, even immigration, because you think he is like a plastic bag blowing around in a parking lot.
So what did you do? Whom are you entrusting with the future of this country? Whom in your eyes has stood for nothing his entire life more than protecting our constitution?
In your head, you rationalized this out and landed on one name:
Donald J. Trump.
Who cares that he lies every chance he gets. Who cares he holds no solid position. Who cares he has been fighting against you and financially propping up politicians who would his entire life.
You’re angry. You want revenge. You want someone’s head on a platter.
Damn your principles. Damn your convictions. Damn everything you stand for.
