Many in the GOP are starting to see the handwriting on the wall about Trump, even some in the GOPe.

The GOP is currently divided into two factions: those who are still in denial, and are resorting to increasingly shrill, obvious, and desperate measures to stop Trump, and those who are resigned to what is to be, and are starting to "lie back and think of Washington DC".
All Trump has to do is stand firm against the frenzied attacks for a few more weeks, and he can watch the inevitable GOP circular firing squad form, as it always does in the face of opposition...

it’s not surprising that Rubio and Cruz would get many more Congressional endorsements than Trump, since A) they work there and B) only 14% of Americans think they’re doing a good job.

Amazing how far we have come. The last time it took a civil war. Perhaps sanity can prevail this time and the trash get left at the curb.

It’s fun to listen to these cries of “We must stop Donald Trump!”. It’s like half the people here, NRO, TedHall, TedState, basically everywhere, are totally indistinguishable from comment threads on MSNBC, KOS, et al.
It’s an amazing thing to behold.

Yeah. Be sure to show everybody a lesson and stay home. I have never (since 1970, when I was first eligible) missed a vote, my good FRiend; and, that will not change.
I have always voted for the GOP presidential nom; and, that will not change.
I hope that it is not Mister (lifelong DEM, Planned Parenthood supporting, socialized medicine supporting, 9/11 truther and for some huge reason, tax statement release refusing trump.
Trump is Perot.

A no vote is a vote for Clinton. Enjoy what you get.

Linda and his colleagues didn’t want to confront and stop Obama.
Trump is where he is today because of them.
Stop blaming the messenger.

Waiting for Perot
“Trump is Perot.”
Ross Perot ran as an Independent, while George H W Bush was the GOP nominee. It’s looking like Trump could be the GOP nominee.
So how does that make him Perot? (Why is this not `apples and oranges’?)
It makes him Perot if you believe him to be independent, and not your generic GOP-e candidate like all the party stiffs since George `Read my lips!’ Bush
Most of us want someone independent of `Uniparty’ who can win, while some of us want to maintain the GOP status quo ante and lose.
OK, great! Thanks for clearing that up.

Reality check for the GOPe. Trump isn’t your problem. He’s a symptom.
We The People, are your problem!
YOURE FIRED!

Yeah, getting more votes from more Americans will do it! :-)
