I love the sound of rain, you see I'm totally deaf...and had a Cochlear Implant in 2010 and second one in 2011...and NOW I CAN HEAR, AND THE RAIN ON THE ROOF WAS THE FIRST SOUND THAT REALLY EXCITED ME, and the singing of birds, and wind whistling through the trees, and hearing my adult kids calling me on the phone...
ahhhh, Medical Miracles are wonderful,,,what a great Country we live in.

I, OTOH, am on the EastCoast, in the line of a really bad storm, with tornadoes in it ( yes, we can get a tornado in Ct. ) and have had a whole bunch of brownouts already, tonight. So I am NOT thrilled by the sounds of very heavy rain and wind right now.
