GOPe Announce Plans To Go “Full Mississippi” on Donald Trump To Destroy Him
Consevative Treehouse ^ | 2/24/16 | Sundance

Posted on 02/24/2016 3:49:27 PM PST by Amntn

When little known Chris McDaniel beat entrenched republican senator Thad Cochran in the first Mississippi primary of 2014 it triggered a series of events that became known simply as "Mississippi '14".

The entrenched DC republican elite developed a plan to destroy McDaniel before the run-off primary. They decided to call McDaniel a racist, pay for print and broadcast attack ads, request help from black Mississippi pastors, and pay Democrats, preachers and voters to vote in the run-off election. Republicans in DC attacking a republican outsider.

Their Machiavellian plan worked. In the run-off Chris McDaniel again beat Thad Cochran with republican voters, but the paid-to-vote Democrats lifted Cochran back onto the throne in the elite Republican Chamber.

Against the desperation of a South Carolina victory for Donald Trump, and now a Nevada victory for Donald Trump, the DC Republican team have re-enlisted the exact same players to roll out a similar nuclear attack approach against the 'outsider republican'.

Appearing on Bloomberg News the former Mississippi architect, Stuart Stevens, and Mississippi financier/bag-man, Henry Barbour, who carried out the Mississippi Strategy - openly admit their intent to use the same level of vitriol to remove Donald Trump.

See the Video Here (at 23:10) as Stuart Stevens and Henry Barbour are assembled again to discuss the process of "taking down Trump". Stevens fully admits to the Mississippi 2014 strategy and how it will work in 2016 against Donald Trump.

So how do they do it? Simple, it's war - a thermonuclear political war. There are no boundaries, there are no rules, there is nothing too far, there is nothing held back.

They run attack ads, they'll shout names and make up malicious smears; they'll follow the candidate around to make noise at rallies; they lie about anything and everything; they'll pay anyone and everyone to assist, and they don't care if the high-information voter knows what they are doing; it's all part of the overall scorched earth plan.

They'll pay people to do and say anything, ANYTHING. Winning is all that counts. Destroying the opponent is all that matters. Every means justifies that end. Period.

The GOPe have already hired actresses and actors to appear in the attack ads and to make personal appearances, as actors, during Trump events. The hiring agency is Talent Direct Agency (TDA) - The actors and production teams are working out the script details right now.

More than likely the construct begins tomorrow with the CNN debate. Expect a full media assist from an ideological corporate media empire who also has skin in the game and corporate ownership who also see candidate Donald Trump as a risk.

A thrilled attendee for the bloodbath, NRO's Charles Cooke, puts it this way:

Tomorrow night, as they stand on either side of Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz must find their resolve and all-but-machine-gun the man to the floor.

Without breaks for water or silence for applause, they must explain that Trump is an entitled mess whose business record is so questionable that he managed to bankrupt a casino; that he is an unashamed fraud who didn't even wait to be elected president before folding on Planned Parenthood and Obamacare, exactly like the "feckless" Congress he is running against; that he is feigning religiosity to appeal to people he believes are rubes; and, above all, that whatever he may be pretending now, he has spent a lifetime screwing the little guy.

They must repeat verbatim his previous words on amnesty; they must outline in detail how his policies will make life worse for everyone; and they must point out that a Trump nomination designed to "mix things up" will result, eventually, in more of the same.

In the meantime, conservatives who are not running for president must ensure that every spare dollar is spent attacking Trump. Melt down the fences if you have to; we need long-range bombers here.

If Donald Trump can flood the airwaves with his nonsense, his opponents can counter it incessantly. And while they are at it, they can tie him up in court, just as he's trying to do to Cruz. There are a good number of "just asking" questions ready to be put to them, among them "Trump's mother was Scottish, can he really be president?" and "Trump ran a host of scams designed to rip off the poor; surely one of them would like to sue him?"

Thus far, part of Trump's media strategy has been to say something outrageous and then to move on before it can be rebutted or fact-checked. Why are his rivals not doing the same thing to him? Why, moreover, are the men in charge of the big guns all-but flirting with the snipers on the other side? (read more)

Perhaps now you can better appreciate why Mitt Romney is joining the effort and throwing anything against the wall to see if it will stick:

On Wednesday's "Your World" on FOX News, former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney told Neil Cavuto that Donald Trump's tax returns may prove he hasn't been honest about his money.

Romney suggests the bombshell could include him lying about his wealth or that he has not made all those charity donations he claims to have made. (link)

You see, it doesn't actually matter if there's any truth to the claim, the goal is to create an absurd hurricane wind of inbound attacks driven with increasing ferocity by the corporate media who will demand the candidate to respond.

In Mississippi 2014 Chris McDaniel was not racist, nor was there anything remotely linking him to anything racist; the goal is to push the candidate away from their campaigning, the truth is irrelevant.

Once the GOPe force the candidate away from campaigning, then they begin selling the false story and using the actors/actresses, or preachers, to deliver an outcome.

By the time the next debate on Fox comes around, well, it'll be peak DEFCON-5 thermonuclear political button pushing because, quite simply, they have nothing to lose.

No stones, just an observation.

I do know that TRUMP contributed all over the country to Republicans, as well as in NYC, giving to a few Democrats on the mutual social circuit. (Of course, next to no one runs for office in NYC, but Democrats, and after all Donald was in business there.)

I heard that. Chris is reportedly supporting Cruz.

I can only assume Chris can’t add it up, yet.

Cruz apologizes all the time and he is “very good” at it, if you follow the MO, but it is always after he has feathered his own nest, first.

There's no "reported" about it. I watched Chris McDaniel on the Campaign trail with Cruz. He wasn't tied up or held at gun point....so I think you have to accept McDaniel's support as FACT.

I can only assume Chris can't add it up, yet.

I will put McDaniel's "first hand experience" (of something that involved him personally almost TWO YEARS AGO) as TRUTH over political propaganda put out by operatives who are only trying to "damage" a political rival.

Cruz apologizes all the time and he is "very good" at it, if you follow the MO, but it is always after he has feathered his own nest, first.

Hmmmm, I've never seen ANYTHING that says Cruz apologized to McDaniels for ANYTHING...so I find your comment quite interesting. Following that rabbit down the rabbit hole....are you suggesting that Republican Chris McDaniels is sooooooo "dense/dumb" that he wouldn't be able to judge a "fake" apology from a "real one" when it came from a man that (propagandists claim) "stabbed" him in the back? WOW....

Yes. I think I may be implying just that. How could it be any other way? The money exchange, the “utter” silence on the part of “utterly” Cruz, the indignant outrage after the fact, and after the TPA vote, calling Mac a liar, followed by the pay off from McConnell. Come on. Wake up.

Hit me again.

I don’t think they forget these things, they just choose to overlook them. It’s Jim Jones 2.0 all over again.

I'll be happy to follow you down the rabbit hole again.....but will you please clarify what you mean about a "money exchange" and pay off from McConnell?

Thanks....

They could call Trump a pathological liar and compare him to a pedophile.

I am speaking to the $200,000.00 contribution Cruz made to the NRSC, while he was silent as a tomb during the mid term senatorial races all over the country. He served as the Vice Chairman, probably the contribution was required as well as the silent as a tomb behavior.

This was during the period when Chris McDaniel was leading that race in Mississippi, as the outsider Tea Party conservative running against Thad Cochran. So, the Senate re-election Committee is about re-electing incumbents, not outsiders.

Where do you suppose that money from Cruz went?

Obviously, the Committee kitty was spent defeating candidates threatening like the life time mule of the GOP Establishment, Cochran.

Haley Barbour and his “relatives” enlisted the black neighborhoods and radio programs and neighborhood flyers to smear Chris. He lost. Thad was re-elected. He’s 110 years old. (not really)

Now, that tenure Cruz served as Vice chair had to be the make up duty to McConnell to redeem himself after the Cruz show boating performances of his filibuster, and the threat to the purse, against Obamacare, which would have resulted in shutting down the government.

Later, Cruz cooperated with McConnell on TPA, which served the mission of the globalists and the North American Union types and the “pathway to legalization” big business types.

I already said all this. McConnell returned to Cruz $300,000.00 for his campaign for the nomination, through his surrogate lawyer.

Never mind the indignant noises Cruz makes about the deeds, AFTER the deeds, and all the excuses *for* the deeds, anyone can follow the dots and the money, and the accomplishments.

Cruz’ ONLY actual accomplishments have aided the wrong side EVERY time, the legalization crowd and North American Union crowd. They are funding his campaign through Wall Street.

Sorry, RitaOK, I've been out and just got back to the computer.

Hmmmmm, I know about the fund raising Cruz did for the Tea Party Candidates running against the establishment Rinos....but don't know about the 200,000. Will have to get back with you after I research it

Missed the debate...but have the recorder set to get it on the "second" showing. I'm hearing it was wild and woolly though.

Talk to you later.......

The NRSC, as the official arm of Senate Republicans, is designed to elect Republicans to the US Senate. Since incumbents are the people who fund the Committee.......the NRSC uses it's money to get incumbents back in office. Cruz won his Tea Party election in 2012....and by mid Jan 2013, as he's still trying to get organized in Washington, he gets APPOINTED as Vice-Chairman of the NRSC "grassroots outreach".....in more of a "symbolism" position, than one of any substance. It was thought that the strategy in placing Cruz in the NRSC by McConnell was to make a "showing" to the tea party/grassroots groups that the RINOS took them seriously. Personally, I think McConnell hoped to stop Cruz from working with groups that were already talking about replacing McConnell and Texas' own RINO John Cornyn.

It didn't work, anyway. Cruz and Mike Lee worked during the summer to raise money for "outsiders" to run in the next primaries through the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) and in August, September and October alone, I think they raised something like 5 or 6 million. The SCF ran attack ads against Pat Roberts, Mitch McConnell, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, Thad Cochran and Lamar Alexander. For Tea Partiers that had focused their anger towards Obama for 2010 and 2012 elections.....Lee and Cruz were turning their attention towards Republicans in Washington that weren't doing their jobs to FIGHT Obama.

Cruz didn't do any endorsements in the primaries for incumbents that I remember...said something about leaving it to the voters to decide without his interference. I laughed my tail off because John Cornyn (and other incumbents) weren't happy that Cruz would NOT endorse them against their primary opponents.

So let's look at who got the money that Cruz and Lee RAISED for the SCF in 2013: Ben Sasse, Joni Ernst, Chris McDaniel, T W Shannon, Milton Wolf and Col Rob Maness. I believe they spent almost a million dollars on Matt Bevin, in an attempt to get rid of Mitch McConnell.......ROFL.

So now we get to September 16, 2014......as Republican candidates prepare to "run" against Democrats for control of the Senate. Cruz donates $250,000 (NOT 200,000) to the NRSC...as do many others to the tune of 3 million?, I think. Fast forward to November........and the Republicans take CONTROL of the Senate from the Democrats. Personally, I think Cruz is a genius. He raises money to get "new blood" into the Republican party through SCF........and helps defeat the Dems through the NRSC.

And whoever is feeding you the garbage about "McConnell funneling money through his lawyer to Cruz" is either an idiot or a bald faced liar. McConnell wouldn't wet on Cruz if he was on fire.......much less give him money for some "perceived backroom deal". Good Grief.

Eric Lycan is the attorney for Stand for Truth, like he has been attorney for several other organizations/individuals...and was never "owned" by McConnell. If you want to see who is giving Cruz financial support (you said 300,000??), you will have to start researching Keats Norfleet and Josh Robinson, since they are are two of the "main people" behind the Stand for Truth PAC.
