GOP Establishment to Kasich: Get Out, You're in Rubio's Way
newsmax.com ^ | 2/22/16

Republican fundraiser Bobbie Kilberg got down to the nub of the issue in explaining why she wants GOP presidential candidate John Kasich to give up the ship.

"I think it is not helpful to have more than one mainstream candidate in this race," Kilberg tells Politico.

Like many in the party after the South Carolina primary, Kilberg says she sees Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as the only establishment-backed candidate with a legitimate chance to overcome the Donald Trump tidal wave and win the nomination, Politico reports.

Other GOP voices say Kasich is accomplishing nothing by staying in the race.

....whatever Kasich is, good or bad, he’s no dummy! Rubio is on a path to lose Nevada tonight and his home state Florida. As I recall, Florida polling shows he is going to get stomped!

So, why is this woman saying Rubio has a legitimate chance and Kasich should get out? Answer: some Republican E operative, that is grasping at straws, told her too!

Not a big Kasich fan either. But you can see the logic. Heh, heh, heh. Time to crack another homebrew.

T/K is not my first choice by a longshot. But I can see why it would make sense.

Most of the tea party candidates shafted those who put them in office. Trump may well do the same thing.

I don’t believe it: Kasich has a shot, at least, of denying Trump Ohio and maybe Michigan. Later, he can deliver those delegates to Rubio or whomever his masters want.
Beating Trump is the GOPe goal, beating him anywhere.

Kasich is more qualified. Rubio got in his way.

Kasich is a good alibi for Rubio, though.

If Rubio doesn't win a primary, he can always say he would have if Kasich weren't in the race.

If Kasich quits, Marco doesn't have that excuse anymore.

I am OK with Rubio getting arrested as a kid in a gay cruiser park. Im fine with his Chippendales high school dance. I was weirded out at first by his foam parties, but he was young and maybe they were fun.

BUT I HAVE NOT GOTTEN OVER KASICH being besties with the sick perv Condit whose timeline for his intern lover’s disappearance (later found to be her murder) was found by us FReepers on 9/10/2001 to be a lie. The walls were closing in on Condit. He had something to do with his inconvenient lover dying.

Luckily for Condit, Mohamed Atta and friends had big plans for the next day.

And how fast did Kasich leave Washington? After Condit got into hot water, the mailman’s son whipped out of the city and grabbed a girl, married her, and instantly gave birth to twins. The new Kasich was reborn.

I still want to know what Kasich knew about Condit. They were inseparable, and Condit loved nothing more than a good threesome with a man buddy. A little S&M, some full body waxings, and Condit was happier than a pig in poop. How far did their friendship go?

Kasich is out for himself as proven when he “consulted” for Lehman Bros after his Congressional stint. Don’t know what he wants but it’s something and he’ll deal when he thinks he has leverage.

GOP has it coming, this is the vermin they breed.

Rubio is the one who should get out. His treasonous betrayal on Amnesty destroyed him. He couldn't beat Hillary, not even if she was running from Fort Leavenworth Prison, because too many decent people would refuse to support the liar from Florida over the felon from wherever Hillary claims to be from (I just think of her "______ of the West").

I hope everyone on FR will encourage Kasich to stay in. A divided RINO establishment is a good thing for America.

I do not think so.

In the first debate last year, by Fox using Megyn Kelley as one of the moderators, Trump stated why he was running for President. Most folks missed the details because he was being attacked.

He is fed up with the corruption requiring him to donate large sums of money to people he doesn’t politically agree with at all: people like Sen.Harry Reid (NV), Hillary Clinton (NY), etc. All he wanted to do was build buildings and he could not unless he paid them large donations.

GOPe hack Steve Hayes on FNC tonight slammed Kasich. The GOPe is desperate to get Alvin the Chip - er - Marco Rubio up against Trump 1 vs 1 before Super Tuesday. It’s their only chance.

Not necessarily. He might choose him as VP. Besides that, we have Kasich as governor until 2018 - so, he still has his position.

They are both in the way. Neither is qualified or competent to be considered for the soon to be open top spot..

I wish he would repeat that and tweet it every day. I KNOW he’ll get a chance to say it in the debate with Hillary. But I predict she won’t debate him.

Kasich is constitutionally eligible. The GOP should be urging Rubio and Cruz to drop out of the race.
