For the second time this presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton is claiming a federal agency rejected her inquiries to serve because she was a woman.
Clinton, appearing Tuesday on the Steve Harvey Show, said growing up, she wanted to be an astronaut.
“I was excited about the space program. I was excited about President Kennedy saying we were gonna send a man to the moon and bring him back within the decade. I thought it was really incredible we were gonna do that,†she told Harvey.
“So, yes, I wrote to NASA,†she said.
“Really…†Harvey replied.
“I wrote to NASA, you know, and said, well, how do you get the be an astronaut. They wrote me back saying, ‘thank you very much for your interest. At this time we are not accepting women astronauts,'†she said as the audience collectively sighed.
“And it did, you know, it hurt my feelings, but I could never have been an astronaut anyway, but I was happy that Sally Ride and other women got to be astronauts later on,†she said to applause.

By the way, Hillary was a (very bad, very unethical lawyer. NASA didn’t need unethical lawyers in space.
And you know you are an very unethical, very bad lawyer when you get fired from the Nixon impeachment panel for being a bad liar! (Note: if you are a GOOD liar and can still remain a GOOD unethical lawyer, you are immediately qualified as a VERY GOOD lawyer and get promoted from the impeachment team! )

Her rejection is either a figment of her imagination or just another outright lie.
But if she ever was rejected it would be because NASA doesn’t have an access hatch and crew seat wide enough to accommodate her rather ample derriere and ham hocks.

As opposed to her having no scientific degrees or qualifications.
Her lying about being named after Sir Edmund Hillary 6 years before Edmund ever climbed Mt Everest just tarts the long list of lies she has told.
Hillary was kicked off the prosecution team against Nixon for her lying and illegal behaviors.

BTW - I’m sure that Hillary being blind as a bat had nothing to do with it either, same as her being rejected from joining the Marine Corps.
This picture of the wanta be Marine or Astronaut is tough to look at. However, please look at the ankles and calves. Just think of what they have become - massive!

Maybe if she had had a degree in aeronautical engineering from Purdue instead of a law degree from Yale she might have been considered for the astronaut program. Space is one place where there’s no need for lawyers.
Imagine if she had been on Apollo 13. Instead of trying to fix the problem, she’d be talking about whom to sue.
That’s what I was wondering. I thought I remembered her saying she tried to join the military. So it looks like Hillary, even at a young age , was unsure of what she wanted to be when she grew up.
A mentor along the way must have counseled her and said, “Hillary, with your ability to lie you could be so much more, you can be a lawyer which will enhance this natural skill, you can even be the First Lady and teach your husband the craft, after that the Senate, at this point you will be a master liar and could even be Secretary of State, after that the sky is the limit, you will be able to lie to the point no one will care if you are lying......you can then be POTUS.”
