“Trust and Safety Council”? How Orwellian can one be? Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter had the utter audacity to state that “Twitter stands for freedom of expression, speaking truth to power, and empowering dialogue. That starts with safety.” So in order to have freedom of expression, one needs to eliminate freedom of expression for any dissenting views from the reigning liberal political correctness doctrine.

They believe in "free speech" across a very narrow bandwidth of political views... typically from moderately liberal to extreme liberal. If you are middle or right in your views, you are subject to censorship. Liberals have no tolerance for a real diversity of ideas. The liberal idea of diversity is akin to the Borg in Star Trek: a bunch of difference species all chanting the same mantra.

They’re begging for a competitor. Since they built Twitter in a single weekend 9 years back it couldn’t be that complicated.
