I think it is about the feds wanting to control the “smartphones” not just the Apple iPhone.
If an average Dem, you either vote Trump or stay home since the Dems have moved way far Left of where you are.
If the usual hard core Democrat core constutency you vote for the Marxist since he is more closely allied with your world views.
If you are Democrat politician, or party apparatchik, union stooge and only interested in Power, you vote for the Socialist.
Which is why all the “Super Delegate” are going to Clinton. It not about ideas or values with them. It is all about power.
Unfortunate fact is the Dems are set up to make sure the Party, not the people, control the process. Not sure you could run to the right of Clinton/Sanders in a D primary and win
