Another concern is TRUMP’S non-committal attitude regarding PALESTINE/ISRAEL. That’s one of the reasons I voted for TED CRUZ.
“My only concern is what Trumpâs immigration deal”
Did the complete 16 year breakdown in border enforcement under W and Obama trouble you any?
Ronald Reagan’s liberal actions before he was president:
In 1950 Reagan helped raise money
for democrat Helen Gahagan Douglas
against Richard Nixon for California senator.
In 1966, Reagan put together a campaign group
to run for California governor. They were
Phil Battaglia, Casper Weinberger and Jack Warner.
They were all from the liberal Rockefeller wing of
the Republican party, not the conservative Goldwater wing.
1970 as governor, Reagan appointed Donald Wright as the
Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court. Wright’s
court later found the death penalty unconstitutional in California.
1972 Reagan supported the re-election of President Richard Nixon instead of giving support to conservative Republican candidate John Ashbrook, who ran an effort
to dump Nixon.
As California Governor, Reagan used his own office funds to keep the Office of Economic Opportunity alive in the state and he tried to make California the first state to create its own consumer affairs dept.
1976 in his presidential run against Gerald Ford, Reagan chose the most liberal Republican Senator in the senate, Richard Schweiker as his vice presidential running mate. In 1980, he chose another liberal running mate George HW Bush.
Who is Bill Russell and why am I supposed to care a damn what he says?
“Another concern is TRUMP’S non-committal attitude regarding PALESTINE/ISRAEL. That’s one of the reasons I voted for TED CRUZ.
I knew it, just knew it, so I looked on your page and found this very quickly as to why you do not like Trump:
“GENESIS 12:3 says: I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
I heard Trump talking about that, and he was explaining strategy, not preference, and how hard would be to get a peace deal when the Palestinians are taught from birth to hate Jews. How much more pro-Israel can you get?
Incidentally, did you know that there are more Jews in the United States than in Israel?
[I heard Trump talking about that]
I heard him too. He said, “I will not comment on that. I will not comment on that.”
[Incidentally, did you know that there are more Jews in the United States than in Israel?]
Jews are returning to their homeland, fulfilling the prophesy in Isaiah 60. No doubt there will be a future time when American Jews will relocate to Israel to escape rising antisemitism.
You wrote: Trump will get it (the wall) done and heâll use the bully pulpit to do it.And he will make Mexico pay for it!
And, he will get Mexico to pay for it!
“I heard him too. He said, “I will not comment on that. I will not comment on that.”
You must be an extremely dishonest person. You do realize that everything is on the internet now.
Here is the comments Trump made about that topic”
(BALDWIN): Mr. Trump, multiple past presidents have attempted to establish a peace agreement between both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. And the one common theme is that they’ve all been unsuccessful. What specific steps would you take to establish an agreement between both sides?
TRUMP: OK. I think it’s probably the toughest agreement of any kind to make. It has been going on for many years, many friends of mine have been involved, they’re very good businessmen, good negotiators. A lot of people say an agreement can’t be made, which is OK, sometimes agreements can’t be made, not good. But you have both sides really, but you have one side in particular growing up and learning that these are the worst people, these are the worst people et cetera et cetera.
It is a very, very tough agreement to make. I was with a very prominent Israeli the other day, said it’s impossible because the other side has been trained from the time they’re children to hate Jewish people. But I will give it one hell of a shot. That I can tell you. But of all agreements - I would say if you can do that deal you can do any deal. That’s probably the toughest deal in the world right now to make and it’s possible it’s not makeable because don’t forget, it has to last.
It’s wonderful to make it and it doesn’t work. But it has to last. To make lasting peace, there, probably the toughest deal of all but I’m going to give it a shot.
SCARBOROUGH: Whose fault do you think it is (INAUDIBLE)?
TRUMP: You know I don’t want to get into it. I don’t want to get into it for a different reason.
SCARBOROUGH: Israeli or Palestinian?
TRUMP: I don’t want to get into it for a different reason, Joe, because if I do win, there has to be a certain amount of surprise, unpredictability, our country has no unpredictability. If I win, I don’t want to be in a position where I’m saying to you, and the other side now say, “We don’t want Trump involved, we don’t want” - let me be sort of a neutral guy, let’s see what - I’m going to give it a shot. It would be so great.
I would be so proud if I would do that. I don’t know if it’s doable, I have friends of mine that are tremendous businesspeople that are really great negotiators, they say it’s not doable, you understand a lot of people have gone down in flames trying to make that deal. SO I don’t want to say whose fault is it, I don’t think it helps.
Furthermore, almost all the politicians in Washington are not only corrupt, but as sleazy as they can be, in fact so sleazy they make Trump look like a boy scout. The only difference is, we know what Trump’s flaws are. The deep character flaws and vices of the arrogant dishonest elites in power are hidden from view, and only occasionally do we hear anything about them. Don’t think for one minute, you Trump haters, that any of these people in Washington are in any way pure and that Trump would taint the moral clime of the Washington!
[TRUMP: You know I donât want to get into it. I donât want to get into it for a different reason.]
Quoted from memory. Same meaning.
I am NOT a dishonest person.
Trump’s a man who understands strategy. We will no longer have someone saying “ and we are going to withdraw our troops in 14 months..”
Just what do you think is the antecedent of “it” when he says “I don’t want to get into it? I don’t want to get into it for a different reason.”?
What is the “different” reason?
I mean, if you think you can look into the future and see that Israel can, overnight, develop the infrastructure and absorb five and one-half million American Jews, that should be easy for you to look into Trump’s mind and divine what he was referring to, or ask the questioner.
I do not think so. He would win only 55 states. Texas will go to Cruz, and Hawaii will go to Obama.
Follow the leader?
[I mean, if you think you can look into the future and see that Israel can, overnight, develop the infrastructure and absorb five and one-half million American Jews, that should be easy for you to look into Trumpâs mind and divine what he was referring to, or ask the questioner.]
Who says there are going to be one-half million American Jews who resettle in Israel? Many American Jews do not practice their faith.
“Who says there are going to be one-half million American Jews who resettle in Israel? Many American Jews do not practice their faith.”
You did, did you not, with this:
“Jews are returning to their homeland, fulfilling the prophesy in Isaiah 60.”
And it is not a half million, it is five and a half million. About four million Jews follow their faith.
“Follow the leader?”
You can say that again.
As an aside, it looks like Sessions got frosted over Rubio’s comments about “conspiracy theories”.
I have an idea that Sessions will never be on Rubio’s team.
OK.
(well, winning 55 out of 57 states still ain’t too bad)
[And it is not a half million, it is five and a half million. About four million Jews follow their faith.]
It’s in the Book. That’s the way it will be.
