So this thread will be full of all the preliminary mud slinging until what, 8 pm ET when we start to actually get some results?
Dang I'm glad these fellow "conservatives" and FReepers can't reach through the internet connection - it'd be a bloody mess. Sadness. Not sure the Left has this kind of problem do they? I mean do they hate and attack each other as viciously as they do here, on the Right?
I personally believe it's because Satan himself is involved in the bad-faith part of the arguments here. Why? Because the Right is Satan's only political adversary - the Right actually fights for Christian values and freedom. So he pits the Right against itself. There are valid and important issues and distinctions on the Right but I think its the level of the acrimony that's hurtful and damaging and that is Satan's playground.
But what I just said can also be used to damage the freedoms and limited gov't the Right SHOULD be standing for because once you start hearing calls for "unity" that invariably means the left side stays put and the right side moves over. I hate that.
To me, the only answer is Jesus Christ and our reliance and dependence on Him, not reliance on man and his gov't. The more we trust in God, the byproduct will be a closer unity of mind and purpose.

I cringe, as a true believer in Jesus Christ, remembering his words to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
HOW MUCH LOVE are we seeing on these posts calling someone a hater of Jesus IF they don’t vote for ....?
I KNOW there are many people around the world READING these posts. sigh...
I think, if I understand HIS word correctly, there will be many tears in heaven when those same people have to READ their own words as Jesus shows their posts to them.
