Again, I have no psychological expertise, nor do I see the need to explain it. But I am certain that it can be done without having to compare Carson to a child molester. And it is disingenuous for a Trump supporter to condemn Cruz for something one of his campaign workers did while giving Trump a free pass for doing much worse.

If you were a candidate running against a person who claimed to have a pathological mental disease, it’s reasonable to infer that you would want to explain this condition to potential primary voters. I’ll believe you could do that more clearly and accurately than Trump if/when you offer your version of the explanation.

Trump took an admission from Carson’s own autobiography and explained it to his audience. The Cruz campaign out and out lied about Carson in Iowa. The only thing worse than those malicious lies is watching Cruz supporters justify them.

Upfront....I support Trump. At the time he (Trump) went there I cringed. At the time Carson was leading in Iowa (November?) The Pathological issue was fair game since it was in Carson’s book. I think that Trump’s connection to child molester was too far. Kleptomaniac or something like that would have been better. Not apologizing for Trump here, but maybe the line of attack was planned but the example wasn’t thought out and it was spur of the moment. Not the best example, but it certainly did stick in one’s mind didn’t it?

But I do think it was fair for Trump to use Carson’s own words. Just like I do think that it was fine for Cruz to use Trump’s own words. Although Trump has stated that his position changed. Perhaps Trump should have had run a commercial that had that same bit of tape and then He comes on and says...I USED to be pro-choice, but thanks to the Lord I changed my mind and my heart and am now adamantly Pro-Life. I think that would have been a powerful commerical and through it right back in Cruz’s face.

Jeez, I wish I could advise a campaign, time to show these numbnutz some sense (I say this on all sides)
