Trying to listen to Trump’s speech on Fox, not sure if its on their end or his, but it sounds like he’s talking through a 1940’s mono microphone with no windscreen.

actually a 40’s mic wouldn’t do that - those electret mics are prone to breath noise pumping. And Donald is PUMPED ;-)
