I do the same thing sometimes,only I use an MP5.
Being a 100% Disabled Veteran with a fiduciary, I’m on the federal NO BUY list & subject to random health & safety inspections from the va. So I’m only allowed to shoot air rifles. But I’ve got a couple of them that can bring down a deer at 125 yards & a hog at 100 yards
