There IS a conservative case for Trump.

He's in the drivers seat right now, it's been his race to win or lose for some time.

I understand why someone would prefer Cruz, but going scorched earth on Trump, who after today may be the likely nominee in waiting is hardly helpful.

Our biggest enemy is the evil party and whoever they will try to fool us with this time. Let's not pave the way for their victory, because if they win this one. It's over.

Conservative purists are out of touch with reality. Take trade, for example. The purists have pushed their free trade ideology for years to the destruction of our middle class and manufacturing base. And they want more of it because their religious text book puts it at the top of the list of graces bestowed by purist conservatism. Ignore the reality that such a beast as a free market simply does not exist. Ignore foreign money policy, obstructionism, and outright bigotry. Let us destroy our power and wealth for their stupid blind Faith in their purist conservative ideology.
UPC - Unrealistic Purist Conservatism

They follow their UPC god wherever he leads.

I don’t agree. Trump started out in landslide mode.

He’s not there anymore.

He’s still leading but he’s slipping. Ted Cruz has an excellent chance to catch him when the last 3 also-rans drop out.

He won today but he hardly dominated.

If he does win I will vote for him but we still have a chance for a better man.
