Donald J. Trump â@realDonaldTrump 26m26 minutes ago
I was asked about healthcare by Anderson Cooper & have been consistent- I will repeal all of #ObamaCare, including the mandate, period.
I was referring to a backstop for pre-existing conditions. I will eliminate the law, in its entirety, & replace it w/ something much better.
I will replace it with private plans, health savings accounts, & allow purchasing across state lines. Maximum choice & freedom for consumer.
I'm self-funding and I am going to take care of the people â not the special interests and insurance companies like the other candidates.
Remember, Cruz and Bush gave us Roberts who upheld #ObamaCare twice! I am the only one who will #MAKEAMERICAGREATAGAIN!

That's Rubio. He's the shorter one with the fancy shoes.
...dozens of articles out there!
There's probably an article quoting Trump's opposition and support for any issue you can think of.
This is the way Trump would do his presidenting. Fly off the handler, then later claim he didn’t say what he said.
Sounds familiar. Hmmm.
Try as I might, I can’t comprehend his stance on many issues. He seems to say one thing, and right away says something altogether different.
As far as his not taking a stance in supporting Israel against Palestine, it seems he makes a lot of money with an energy drink that’s marketed to Israel and Palestine.
That seems like a conflict of interest as far as the duties of POTUS is concerned, IMO.
that ‘s
clarification?”
It would still be universal healthcare under Federal mandates/control -
Get the he*l out of our business and let the private sector take care of it - allowing across state lines -
AND go back to clinics for the poor
Say what? If Obama made that comment, he would be mocked mercilessly on this board.
Above the poverty line means that bills would be sent out after the fact.
Some skin in the game would be required with payments...
But healthy middle class people would not be forced to buy a product that they did not need.
He would if he thinks it would help Trump!
RE: Distorting .. Trump doesn’t need any help.
He distorts his answers all the time during interviews ... first gives a less than conservative answer, trails off, then talks about unrelated stuff to the point of confusion (the interviewer’s, Trump’s, and mine). The dazed interviewer goes to next question.
Trump’s answer to Cooper was clear: “I like the mandate.”
The rest of his answer can only be described as *word salad*.
So Trump is just going to wave a magic wand to make all this happen?
Sounds familiar. Hmmm.
Oh this sounds so like my former son in law!!!
He even had my daughter convinced she truly WAS the problem.
What a perfect description of the way he talks.
" Big Crowds, Thousands of People"
Gosh do you think Trump reversed his stance and changed only after he figured out that people REALLY were paying attention to what he was saying?
He said something vague about a Medicare type of program, but he doesn’t elaborate.
It’s because he doesn’t mind socialism if it gets him elected.
And Trump knows that socialism will rightly piss off conservatives. So he keeps it vague to pull in Democrats to his banner but won’t flesh out his plans so it won’t turn off Republicans.
I’m voting for Bozo instead: he admits he’s a clown and he does the orange hair thing a lot better.
Despite the dings your post attracted — claiming Trump clarified nothing — you’re right to ding the GOP-e media minions for its unyielding support of the status quo.
This is why Trump rarely gives any specific beyond “big,” “better,” win” and “great.”
When he gives a position, it is a liberal position, then he has to backtrack.
He might be a Socialist, but he is also a Nationalist. So it is all OK.
