Ted Cruz birther lawsuit makes it to Cook County courtroom

Not along ago, Illinois pharmacist and attorney Lawrence Joyce began to realize his country and his political party were facing what he considered to be a nightmare.

Concerns about the eligibility for the presidency of Republican candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas, who was born in Canada to a Cuban father and an American mother, were raised by rival Donald Trump. Though they may at first have seemed laughable, the legal case against Cruz was one Joyce, a Ben Carson supporter, thought he understood.

The Constitution requires the president to be a "natural born" citizen of the United States, and as far as Joyce is concerned, Cruz isn't one.

Not even his ss# or draft card is real. So where did he come from. There is an MI 6 guy that says the CIA has his DNA and when they compared it with granny and grand pa there was no match. S his mom isn’t even his mom.

And yet... so did Bellei, but he later lost it (did not jump through the timely hoops to confirm it). He was Italian.

To be natural born citizen of someplace, but then to lose it, sounds like contradiction in terms.

Problem still remains that natural born doesn’t get any formulation in law today, even if it had one when the Constitution was ratified. It seems a vexing oversight to me. Could someone qualify to be president and then, because of his oversight, lose his citizenship? That sounds like a nonsensical state of affairs to me.

Anyway, back to Cruz; we know who his parents are, we know where he was born.

Key point to follow is what his mom did or did not do, since she is the connection to his citizenship.

Start off at ‘citizen’ and check that out first. Then figure out what ‘natural born’ is, according to the courts.

Track also the progress of those lawsuits, see if the dims use it as an issue.
