Marco Rubio's last-minute cancellation at a conservative confab Thursday night instantly became fodder for rival candidate Ted Cruz, with the event's pro-Cruz organizer calling it "pretty damn rude."
"This is the final admission that Marco Rubio isn't even going to try to compete for the votes of conservatives in South Carolina or anywhere else," Cruz communications director Rick Tyler asserted in a statement.

"Did the Cruz campaign really take a break from photoshopping pictures and recording false robocalls to send out this false press release?" Conant said in a statement. "This ridiculous attack is just the latest example of Ted Cruz's willingness to do or say anything in this campaign."
Cruz took the stage and earned a warm reception from what was clearly a friendly crowd for the Texas senator. Levin took the stage following the senator and immediately swiped at Rubio.
"Marco Rubio, will you raise your hand?" he said. "He was supposed to be here. Probably went to McDonald's."

The way Cruz operates can’t blame Rubio. They could drug him or kidnap him, or worse. This is a good no show.
The holding of the first conference was “coincidently” ijn SC two days before the primary. Levin has shown his true colors. He is the guy who pushed for the reelection of Hatch rather than a Tea Party candidate.
Yeah. I don’t support Rubio, but I can see why he didn’t go. Especially considering they mocked him and insulted him for not going. Because that’s a normal thing to do when your guest says they can’t make it. LOL
Did he have GOOD excuses when he missed all those votes in the Senate?

In fairness to Rubio, CR is a wing of the Cruz campaign, ran and edited by Cruz supporters, and an outlet for pro-Cruz propaganda. Its like going to a Cruz campaign HQ to get interviewed.

It was the night that Levin also launched his “Television” show. Wonder if Levin’s fiance and future son in law, who is a staffer for Cruz, were with him?
Besides their content, and even this article calls the moderator pro Cruz, but look at the names of the people working for CR. There is even a Ted Cruz speech writer on staff. Cruz’s staff and campaign tactics are utterly dishonest. The existence and pretension of this organization is another example of that. They pose as an independent conservative ratings group but are not upfront with their ties to Cruz.

If Rubio didn't go for that reason.......then he has no business running for the President's office. I can promise you that America's TRUE ENEMIES make Levin and Co look like amateurs...so if he can't handle the heat there...I have no reason to believe he can handle the heat in the White House.
It’s not a good no-show when he canceled literally five minutes before it started. That’s just rude, unless he was in physical danger.
