40+ years of the cold war, and we possibly get it via an inside job?
Before thinking this is absurd, it is plausible with a 4- way race this year,
Add a solid blue Northeast to Calfornia and upper midwest, Just shuddering at the thought.
Millenials don't remember the Cold War and have no idea what it was all about. They think "socialism" is something like, you know, social media-- government by Facebook or something, and it's all free. So what's not to like?
If we get a bernie presidency, the best thing to do might be to become an ex-pat.
Seriously, if we fall to socialism (I mean the full-blown type that sanders touts, then we are over, done, fini).
These are your young immature liberals who flame out once they get married, latch on to a job etc. Many don’t even vote.
But the nice thing about America, is every four years we talk about these things and debate them. It would be very refreshing to have a presidential campaign between Bernie and The Donald.
IN fact, it is so easy to see what’s happening that it’s almost like it was Heaven sent.
AS long as there are 4 or 5 candidates fighting it out, Trump will win hands down. If it gets down to three, then it’s going to be close for awhile.
I see this happening. After SC they all stay in until maybe after Michigan, by then Trump has it.
On the other side Bernie gets.
So, what would coalesce everyone here behind Trump would be if the alternative were Bernie. IF Hillary, I don’t think people, ie the Trump haters, would vote.
You’d see all the politicians now in Trump’s corner as he campaigns around the country for them.
There’s a fierce debate about socialism and capitalism. In the end more people end up voting than ever before and more for a republican.
Trump is going to be like the second coming.
I agree, think of the mind set of people who would prefer either Bernie or Hillary as the leader of our country. The thought just makes me ill.
