What the mandate does now gives the insurance companies the power. What Mr. Trump wants to do is take away that power, and give it back to the people and businesses.

Actually, if it weren’t for insurance companies, we wouldn’t need insurance, as medical providers would not jack up prices to obscene levels, and free market competition would kick in.

Medical costs would be far less expensive, as it is in many countries, while at the same time, providing quality care.

That is what you want to believe.

That is not what he said. People tend to say the craziest things about what they think Trump said, when his entire life is a testament to exactly the opposite of what they want him to believe.

You really want a low cost health system with out any form if insurance ?

Good luck with that. Pay as you go is fine when your 25 and in perfect health but try it at 49 with ACDF surgery.

Insurance needs reformed and more importantly malpractices law needs to be reformed.

Cross state borders is a good first start.
Low cost catastrophic care plans are a good second.
Lowering the need for ‘defensive’ medicine is also needed.

It is complex and djt only gives simple comments like wonderful and great and huge savings..etc..
