I don’t think the headline implied in any way that it was a direct quote. It was clear to me that they were paraphrasing as headlines often do.
I don’t think the MSM could possibly smear, wail and gnash teeth harder than Beck is doing against Trump. Beck is doing the same thing the GOPe is doing. He thinks he knows better than the rest of us like we’re children who can’t look at the candidates and make a decision based on our own judgement.
If the MSM tries to wade in, will Beck be leading the charge? I’m thinking yes in spite of the bashing he’s done of the MSM. Hatred makes strange bedfellows. You actually think the MSM could destroy Trump but couldn’t destroy Cruz? You are living in a fantasy land. The GOP would destroy Cruz before the MSM would ever get a chance to.
Come to think of it, I don’t think I have ever heard Beck hate on Obama as hard as he is on Trump. He’s not doing himself, his empire or Cruz any favors.
True enough about the pounding Beck is doing. I don’t really care about that. What bothers me is the burning of bridges Trump supporters are doing. If and when Trump is the nominee, every candidate that tried to win the nomination will lay in tatters. His take no prisoners, make no friends style will leave no fall back position, no bench from which to draw a VP or any friends other than his voters. It brings to mind the advance of German troops into Russia, where they burnt the crops behind them. When they had to retreat, they were decimated because there was no shelter, no food and thousands of miles to travel.
Mark my words, the things that can and will come out about Trump will result in embarrassment and resignation for many politicians and likely long coat tails for Bernie Sanders in the Senate and House. Can anyone imagine another Democrat winner, with majorities in the House and Senate? How many USSC appointments will they get? For that matter, Trump and Bernie are just about hand in hand politically. Trump is just blowing smoke about the border and Muslims. All he cares about is being loved and winning personally. Again, this is all my opinion.
If the current election does not result in a worsened position that the Obama Presidency, I will look up this comment and apologize profusely.
I always liked the quote “It is always darkest, just before it goes completely black”. What I fear is the GOP in tatters, and the Socialist/Communists in full charge. This election IS do or die for our country. That is not overstating it....IMHO.
