He ran with Tea Party backing yet as soon as he showed up in DC he refused all their invitations to join their caucus/meetings. His mouth uttered conservative words while he ran for Senator, but his true colors soon showed. And he knows FL has his number. No one I know here who voted for him will be voting for him again, for Senator or President. He just wants the fame/power/money, he's 100% owned. If it was a choice between him and Hillary/Bernie, I'd stay home, because at that point, it really wouldn't matter... the country would not be restored either way.
