Think of John Adams and his son, John Quincy. That boy was a scholar at an incredibly young age, as many were back then who were fortunate to be educated. Young boys grew into manhood at such an early age. I marvel to think of how educated they were. Nit silk, mind you, but especially those who were instrumental in leading this country to independence and governing it going forward. By the way, I believe John Adams lived to be about 90-91, and was by no means a wealthy man in terms of financial, land wealth.

He came along twice. A white version and a brown version.

>>So hope Trump wins South Carolina.
Lots of people form South Carolina seem to want Trump to win. Still hoping Trump wins SC on Saturday.

From your lips to God’s ears! I pray Mr. Trump wins despite all the GOPe shenanigans with the electronic digital voting machines.

I can hardly wait until Saturday!

Links to his rallies? Please ... for one thing non-Trump supporters are not welcome.

I only like to go to prayer meetings when an actual God is being prayed to. Not your little demi-god.

I can’t think of one of his goals Obama didn’t either meet or advance the country closer towards. To say that he is incompetent ignores all the fundamental transformation he succeeded at putting in place. There’s a reason Rush said “I hope he fails.” Obama didn’t fail to meet his own goals. He got Obamacare passed, added EPA regulations and restrictions, did executive amnesty, appointed two STAUNCH and reliable leftists to the Supreme Court, got same-sex marriage turned into law and pulled out of the Middle East so that Islamists could overthrow secular leaders. Maybe the only goal Obama has failed to succeed on is new gun control.

Cruz himself has said we need a president as committed to conservative principles as Obama is to liberal principles.

Austin girl, you are exactly right.

There is nothing to explain Trump’s popularity but cultism and magic thinking.

People don’t want to think anymore. They want a Daddy who will make everything right and give them a raise and a pony.

He has MANY years of core values in business and raising his children his children are quite remarkable people, they were required to work their entire lives at some very low paying jobs he raised his kids very conservatively and the kids are the mirror of the man!! You people can go on and on about Cruz, Trump supporters are VERY LOYAL and you are frankly wasting your time telling us how WONDERFUL your guy is!!! We just don’t see it!!!!

Just caught the end of the MSNBC town hall. Do you know if there is any way to watch a rerun on computer? I was 20 blocks south catching Roger Stone at a talk/book signing. I’m sure this book and the questions it must have raised is the reason W and Laura went home.

It disgusts me that he’s milking money out of innocent supporters. He e-mails me at least once a day. One cannot respond to those e-mails or I would tell him what I think of him.

Trump said his sister would make a great Supreme Court justice when asked the question last year.

That showed a lot of things. It showed he wasn’t taking the appointment of a justice seriously up until that time. It showed he didn’t know it was a question that conservatives take very seriously. And it showed he thinks his sister is a great judge for the Supreme Court, despite her liberal rulings.

No, it shows Trump was being nice to his 77 year old sister. But that will never get in the way of a good Cruz talking point smear. Give it a rest.

Speaking of judgement. Here’s what Tricky Teddy authoritatively said about John Roberts:

As an individual, John Roberts is undoubtedly a principled conservative, as is the president who appointed him. He clerked for Chief Justice Rehnquist, worked in the Reagan White House, and served as the principal deputy solicitor general in President George H.W. Bush’s Justice Department.

But, as a jurist, Judge Roberts’s approach will be that of his entire career: carefully, faithfully applying the Constitution and legal precedent. He is a mainstream judge, respected across the ideological spectrum.

Thus, he’s earned praise from liberal icons such as Harvard Law Professor Larry Tribe, and Chicago Law Professor Cass Sunstein, as well as from Clinton Solicitors General Walter Dellinger and Seth Waxman, and Carter and Clinton Counsel Lloyd Cutler, the latter two of whom both described Roberts as a man of “unquestioned integrity and fair-mindedness.” As Professor Tribe observed Tuesday night, “[i]t is clear that in the absence of some serious objection that is not now visible . . . he is very likely to be confirmed.” The Senate should confirm him swiftly.

I know we are. You all do not listen to a word against Trump. You love him with all your heart.

I do not expect to change your mind.

I’m not trying to. I’m just expressing what I think.

Okay, baby?

Yet another Cruz supporter calling Trump supporters stupid.

How's that working for you? Are you convincing anyone?

I have friends out in California I sent a video of Cruz speaking so they could see why I was excited about Cruz early on........they said pretty much the same your friends did...He impressed them as well and said he spoke so well they actually understood what usually politicians speak over their heads....but he is so articulate you can’t miss it.

Cruz never shys away from questions...I actually think he enjoys sharing what he knows and so much wants people to be informed.
