CNN is hosting a town hall at 8 p.m. EST with Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. At the same time MSNBC is holding a competing town hall with Donald Trump.
I had not seen that until now. It made my eyes wet.

Cruz is such a well-rounded person. I loved his Princess Bride take-off.

Supposedly the average life expectancy in 1776 was 35. Hard to believe. I guess they expected presidential candidates to come from families that had the resources to live beyond the average.
It’s odd that Trump is cozying up to Carson now.
Remember when he called Carson a psychopath and child molester? That was back when Carson was leading in Iowa.
He also called Iowa people ‘stupid’ for wanting him.
Something is going on between those two.

I don’t think Carson is running a serious campaign and it bugs me that he e-mails me every day for money when I’m pretty sure he’s only gonna stay in until ... Trump releases him for he does so badly it’s obvious.
Carson is Trump’s useful idiot and pawn against Cruz. Now Rubio has jumped on board.

That’s the first I saw the Princess Bride take as well.....he was having fun doing that. Like when he got the Churchill tattoo....I laughed hard when I saw him roll up his sleeve and show it on Fox...pretty much everyone was laughing...
There is absolutely no telling what Trump will do if thwarted in what he wants.
Go after people viciously using the power of the office.

So, I was in 5th grade at that time.
I remember some children would go up to the chalkboard and write “LBJ for the USA”.
Then I would go up to the board, grab an eraser, and erase the “F” in the word “for”!

Trump said his sister would make a great Supreme Court justice when asked the question last year.
That showed a lot of things. It showed he wasn’t taking the appointment of a justice seriously up until that time. It showed he didn’t know it was a question that conservatives take very seriously. And it showed he thinks his sister is a great judge for the Supreme Court, despite her liberal rulings.
I know. It just makes me so sad. We had to settle for McCain and Romney the last two elections because there was nobody who was just right.
This time we have a guy who is almost perfect. Ted Cruz.
And we have this weird reality star who decided to wheel and deal his way into office.
Trump wants all these candidates running...it hides his false lead over Cruz as they split the votes, otherwise Cruz would be rolling over Trump big time.
Yes, Trump’s using Carson....but he’s willing to be used as last I heard Carson’s still accepting donations regardless that his staff has all but gone. I don’t think he’ll drop out until he’s taken in what he can. He’s not paying for anything without a staff etc...so it’s pretty much clear profit.
So hope Trump wins South Carolina.
Lots of people form South Carolina seem to want Trump to win. Still hoping Trump wins SC on Saturday.
I watched it with a couple of people who aren’t politically astute and they were very impressed that he spoke articulately and actually has a plan. They also mentioned that he addressed every issue and question, including the birther issue.

Cruz is not indebted to special interests. That’s your boy, Trump.
Trump may or may not secure the borders. You cannot trust him to do what he says. He has no history of consistency or core values on anything.
