Tell me this. Why was Ted Cruz’s dad living and working in Canada during the high of the VN war when little Teddy was born. Was he afraid that if he lived here in the states that he might be drafted?

And he was in his mid twenties when he moved to canada from the states. Maybe he didn’t want to take the chance of being drafted in the 60’s. I wonder if he even registered for the draft after gaining political asylum.
