Trump’s support dropped 9 points after the SC debate:
“....The [ CNN/ORC] poll did show that Mr. Trump’s level of support was slightly different based on whether the interviews, conducted from Feb. 10-15, were done before or after the boisterous GOP debate on Saturday, Feb. 13. Forty percent backed Mr. Trump in interviews conducted before the debate, compared to 31 percent who supported him afterward.”

By wide margins, Mr. Trump was judged the candidate best able to handle the economy, illegal immigration and the Islamic State terrorist group. He was also seen as the candidate with the best chance to win in November and the candidate most likely to change the way things work in Washington.
"Now I'm going to read you a few phrases which describe the candidates, and for each one, tell me which Republican candidate you think that phrase best describes, regardless of who you are voting for. Which Republican candidate do you think: Has the best chance of winning in the general election in November?"
Trump 56% Rubio 18% Cruz 16%
This is a dishonest conclusion. CNN poll was over multiple days, with a very low sample size on the last day, which was post-debate. IOW, margin of error is probably 10 points or more when looking at such a small number. All other post-debate polls for the same day and the following show Trump either gaining or losing 1 or 2 points, all within normal variation.
Except Trump gained points in several other post debate polls and he is 19 points ahead of Ted with evangelicals in that same CNN poll you quote from.
You just keep telling yourself that the last debate finished Trump!
Love you but your post is so desperate. you are reaching anything....anything to give Cruz a little bit of unrealistic hope. You keep going though because you may only have Cruz for another month.
