Well yes, a pillow over a dead body’s face is a strange place to find it.
I have little respect for Trump but I actually am glad he said this as maybe it will help force a little more investigation into Scalia’s death.
Trump was probably reading Drudge’s headlines, like millions of other Americans.

Trump needs to get his facts straight. The pillow was not over his face.
What, specifically, was wrong with his answer?
Aside from the fact his answer bears little resemblance to the headline.
Maybe he was killed...did you ever think of that???
After all, it was a very convenient event for the radical left tyrants we are being subjected to.
I agree that he talks before he thinks the implications through sometimes. He needs to filter his comments, and sometimes the best comment is to say you have no comment without the facts.
He doesn’t have to answer everything thrown at him. In fact, I often think the reporters bait him to get a controversial response.
“they say they found a pillow on his face”
That’s not what was said.
This is Chinese Whispers.
What does that mean in regards to this national story?
My God, is a non answer from Trump worthy of an article from National Review? It must be - people are desperate to take out Trump over anything and everything - this is a nothing burger. Savage is the one who told Trump about the pillow being over his face - he hadn’t heard that. You Cruzbots are desperadoes.
What specifically did he say that irked you?
Or did you not read what he said?
And yes, I do want a president that will speak honestly.
I can, however do without the media edits....
I canât tell you - I canât give you an answer.
What a stupid article. Donald dodged giving an answer beautifully. Much ado about nothing.
Actually I WANT a President who doesn’t run everything through PC, focus group, and GOPe filters. PLEASE.
That something the TDSers just don’t get!
PS Yeah, a pillow over a dead person’s face is just perfectly normal. You know, heart attacks cause telekenisis that makes the pillow jump up there.
So.... Trump wants us to believe a murderer of a Supreme Court Justice smothered him with a pillow (no signs of a struggle on the bed) and then left the pillow on his face? But then Trump is not known for thinking before he speaks.
What a dumbass. The resort owner clarified his original remarks and said the pillow was above Scalia’s head. IOWs between the top of his head and the headboard.
The death of Justice Scalia has brought the focus sharply on some areas that the Powers That Be would rather not have anyone see. This is when the past becomes very relevant to the future.
Over the last few decades, we have seen the Fedgov become absolutely contemptuous of the American Citizen. ValJarâs quote, âWe will reward our friends, and punish our enemiesâ pretty much shows that they are not in the least bit concerned with what actually happens to Americans. There have been lots of suspicious deaths, usually at convenient moments that serve to muddy the waters of any investigation. Hillary Clintonâs doings have been nothing less than spectacularly âin your faceâ and done with the absolute confidence that she is above the law and nothing will happen.
We have trade deals, open borders, illegal aliens pouring through, ridiculous regulations, all reminiscent of the grievances listed in the Declaration of Independence.
The lies told over and over again regarding not only Obamacare, verified by Gruber, but the shady dealings throughout the last few decades. The question is not whether Scalia was murdered, but the fact that trust in our government is so low that it is a believable occurrence. This would be expected in a Central American banana republic, but the attitude from our own government indicates how far we have fallen.
