this is the way I remember it...our defenses were poor, our military disheveled, our national pride low.....

I remember how the clintonistas right after they left office, after taking the White House phones that is, were in a panic telling the new administration that "they" had to take care of the terrorist threat...even though they did nothing about it...treated the first Trade Tower attack as a simple crime, not a massive terror assault...
