C. Steven Tucker, a nationally-recognized healthcare policy expert and a delegate to the Republican convention for Ted Cruz, has come out publicly that he is abandoning Cruz because of his inability to tell the truth. 'I have bit my tongue long enough. As a delegate for Senator Ted Cruz I have been placed into a difficult and increasingly uncomfortable position and now I have had enough.' ..............
You’ve missed nothing. The man is a voter at this point, nothing more. The Trumpettes are making hay of one voter saying he no longer supports Cruz. It’s because the don’t have the likes of So well it Levin. They need something. It’s desperation.
Mr. Tucker, it's not Cruz who's lying to you, it's the people who are telling you that.I mentioned this in another post today to someone who (like you) makes excuses for and doesn't care that Cruz lied/lies.
The sure thing about associating yourself with an admitted and proven liar is that YOU will someday be a victim of his lies. They will not only lie to you, they'll also lie about you.
I saw him say it.
You are right about being thankful for Cruz in those three items. For Trump, give about another nine months.
Since we are talking about lies, are you going to give mention to the fact that a fake Cruz facebook account posted about gowdy, and that the actual campaign has said so and even said that anyone pulling that kind of thing in his campaign would be dealt with. No I guess not, because that doesn’t fit the narrative you are pushing. For those of you who are curious that is a logical fallacy called selective perceptions
Trump on healthcare: ‘I am going to take care of everyone
Donald Trump appeared on “60 Minutes” Sunday and host Scott Pelley announced right off the bat his commitment to nail down Trump on some policy specifics. Trump obliged, reiterating some stances that don’t hew to Republican orthodoxy.
On the question of universal healthcare, Trump said: “I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.”
“The government’s going to pay for it.”
Well, if you think that’s what you heard I’m not going to try to change your mind. However, God knows there are plenty of videos, articles and books written that state his position. Start with his website.
Abandon ship!
The Cruzties are not going to like this.
He said it on 60 minutes in an interview with Scott Pelley.
An obvious lie. Illinois has not picked any convention delegates yet.
Woopdee doo...another Trump fan, following the herd.
What Cruz should do though, is stop saying Trump supports or will continue Obamacare and just plain state Trump is for government paid healthcare. Because that is the truth, and it is something Trump has said specifically, and very recently.
And since Cruz is big on policy differences, he should point out, he supports government getting OUT of healthcare all together and letting the private sector handle it.
It’s a report from Bill Still. In other words, a BS report.
I hear ya.
No, Senetor Cruz ... Donald Trump does not support single payer health care.
He said.... I’m TED CRUZ! I’M WHITE! I’M ENTITLED! But then here come Donald Trump, mmm, mmm, mmm.
Maybe thats a lie but I did hear Trump say he would 'take care of everyone and the government will pay for it'.He also said he's not going to let people die in the streets Ted. Who do you think deserves to die in the streets just because YOU don't want to pay for it...Ted.
