In the past 100 years there have been 18 Presidents. Other than Reagan, who was the perfect conservative President in conservatives opinion?
Some would add Coolidge.
Okay, Reagan and Coolidge. Two out of 18 Presidents in 100 years. 10% of the Presidents in the last 100 years, roughly. That means conservatives are going to be disappointed by 90% of the Presidents elected.
That also means America is a moderate, centrist country and is governed pretty much from the center.
I’d like the chance to vote for a conservative in a general election; it would be a first for me (was apolitical until ~18 years ago)...
