The late actress Elizabeth Taylor was born a British citizen, naturalized as an American citizen when coming here for her acting career, converted to Judaism when she married Jewish American singer Eddie Fisher (Carrie's dad) and then naturalized as an Israeli citizen. She maintained all THREE citizenships to the day she died. I am sure that there are many other examples.

American gangster Meyer Lansky was an American NBC born in NYC. He attempted to secure Israeli citizenship to avoid incarceration here but was rejected by Israel as an undesirable. He was a very smart man and would not have tried if it were not legal.

Sir Winston Churchill's mother Jenny was an American NBC who naturalized in Great Britain but, unless she actually renounced her citizenship here, he would have been an NBC here as well as there.

One great irony in all this is that plenty of my immigrant ancestors from Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Canada and Germany never sweated the paperwork hassle and likewise many of the ancestors of the Birthers here likely did not sweat the paperwork and red tape either.

According to Birther theory, we cannot really be sure about JEB!!! OK, his father and brother served as POTUS and his mother is a fourth cousin four times removed of a Democrat POTUS Franklin Pierce but what about all those Walker ancestors and Bush ancestors and Pierce ancestors and the people they married? Are you REALLY sure that they were all actual citizens or was there a break in the line somewhere when someone snuck into the US and never bothered to naturalize? You can never be tooooo obsessive, you know? These furriners are a sneaky crew and up to no good. TRUMP!!!! saw three under his bed just last night!

Oh, and did anyone notice that, as much as the GOP-E of his time loathed Barry Morris Goldwater, no one played the NBC card on him. BMG was born in Arizona Territory (Arizona was not yet part of the USA until 2/14/12) and his birthdate was 1/2/09 more than three years prior to statehood. Hmmmmmm!!!!!
