One of things that drives me absolutely nuts about some people in the Republican party is the constant emphasis on religion. Not everyone wants to be preached to. Religion should be a very personal thing. There is nothing wrong with being vocal about your faith and there is nothing wrong with it being part of the campaign. But when it’s your number 1 selling point it becomes a major turnoff. People don’t realize that when they judge everyone according to a religious litmus test, they are condescending and judgmental.
My country is falling apart, it’s being overrun by illegal immigrants, we’re $20T in debt, my kids are looking at a bleak job market, Social Security will be gone, the government is trying to take my money, and I’ve got knuckleheads on here upset because Trump is divorced or that he used to be pro-choice or that he used eminent domain in his business or my favorite, is the person that’s upset that there is a Scores in the Taj Mahal that Trump doesn’t even own anymore. So I could care less if somebody tells me that I or Trump or anyone else is not Christian enough. It’s an irrelevant point in the grand scheme of things. Trump is the only one that has even a remote chance of restoring this country.
I know it sounds cliche but we aren't electing an altar boy, we are electing a president.
