"Now, when he was arguing for the impeachment of George W. Bush, that was not a reasonable position."

Not that you'll find many people all that excited to stick up for W. to the point where they would be like "how awful".

And we ever going to hear Cruz's position on the Iraq War?

""Donald's sister was a Bill Clinton-appointed federal appellate judge who is a radical pro-abortion extremist," Cruz said. "Indeed, she wrote an opinion striking down restrictions on partial birth abortion, saying that restricting partial birth abortion was irrational. Even among liberal judges, that position is extreme, and Donald said, his extreme, abortion-supporting sister would make a terrific Supreme Court justice." "

Which he knows was not serious, nor ever even likely. Should have said "My sister is a sh*tty judge, and she's a c*nt"?

His oldest sister is a senior judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Maryanne Trump Barry was nominated as a Federal District Judge by President Reagan in 1983. Bill Clinton then appointed her to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1999.

Seems Mercer-Cruz thinks one should diss their siblings in public. Maybe have a public shaming.

No, he could have said “My sister and I disagree on many things, and as a result of that, as much as I love her I couldn’t in good conscience recommend her for the Supreme Court.”
But he didn’t because they don’t disagree.
