Although I am very curious as to the possiblity of foul play, I’d have to say that the family has the right to decline it, and if that is what they want, I’m ok with their decision.
I must respectfully disagree. If you chose to live a private life, then yes, your family's wishes should be respected.
But if you choose to live a public life, then the situation changes. The search for truth trumps the wishes of your family.
