He wants their nomination, but he only holds them in contempt. Yet somehow despite Trump’s undisguised scorn, despite his having been a Democrat, a funder of Liberalism, a praiser of Clintons and Obama, some like you, a Code Pinky, thinks we should not expose the fake conservative. Cruz supported Bush’s choice. You think that Cruz could ever guess how Roberts would vote on a statute ten year later. He recommended the man he knew ten years ago. Even then he preferred another person. Donald has this amazing ability to make people forget what he said four years ago and get them to remember what people said ten years ago.
Cruz is trying to reach the marginal folks that have not been following the campaign. He is proving himself to be an unethical, immoral and un-Christian human being.
As far as campaigning is concerned, he is worse than the race-baiting democrats who always lie about republicans wanting to end Social Security. Cruz practically picked every hot-button issue on the table and lied about Trump's position.
Obviously Cruz can't sell what ideas he is for, so he simply lies about everyone else. He is willing to lose knowledgeable people who might vote for him in order to lesson the vote of Trump. Cruz is truly worse than Hillary and worse than Obama was in campaigning - truly a new low. His character is worse than Hillary. I wonder if voting for him over Hillary would really matter - if he ever got the nomination.

Unless Trump is a complete idiot he knows from his scorched earth campaign style, should Trump get the nomination, other candidate supporters are going to stay home on election day.
