You heard it here first.
Obama with his pen and phone will nominate and sign into law his SC nominee without hearings and during the recess.

We all know where this is headed.

Obama is going to nominate a black female. This will become the summer of “Racist Republicans! War On Women! Racist! Racist! War On Women!”

After a few months of pounding the Pubbies will likely cave.
And if they don’t there will be a new victim who can be used to rally the Obama base voters to the polls.

Either way it works for the Dems.

Obama said this morning that he was not going nominate anyone until the Senate returns next week.

We’ll see.

However, Obama can appoint anyone he wants. That does not mean that the Senate is OBLIGATED to confirm that person.

And .. Ted Cruz also stated today that he was prepared to filibuster any Court nominee during this election year.

Obama would rather have the fight than the nominee.
Something he can use to bash the GOP with all summer and
turn out his base in the fall.
