Yeah. You know I honestly wonder why Ted “Creflo Dollar” Cruz continues to badger grandma for another EMERGENCY $20 out of her Social Security check when he’s got enough PAC money to buy an army of door-to-door spammers. Seems like it’s not worth the ill will it creates when you’ve already got tens of millions to burn.

We conservatives do this (go door to door) regularly in KS!

What's "dirty" about it.

We knock on doors, if no one home, we leave hang tags asking for votes.

KS Pro-life candidates win by personal contact whenever and wherever possible!

Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t have dandy little smart phones with your whole internet history, address and church going habits programmed into them. Jehovah’s Witnesses are annoying. Cruzers are sinister.

He’s “wildly popular” across the south, right?

I guess we’ll know for sure after SEC Tuesday.

I assume you volunteer for this because you’re passionate about the cause. Nothing wrong with that at all. I think the point of the article is that Cruz’s big money PAC’s are paying people to do it.

At the very least, it calls into question the sincerely of the door knockers.

So why is this a negative against Cruz? I’m sure PACs supporting him are not alone in doing it? Is it a hit piece because Trump self funding and not wanting to spend his own money to counter the ground game? I wonder.

They don’t want Trump’s foul-mouthed, threatening, unscrupulous New York lawyers going after them.

What I find interesting is the Cruz supporter lies that Cruz won Iowa on the cheap. We all heard about the massive ground game that Cruz put together in Iowa. Then they claimed he ran the cheapest campaign.

But now we know the truth. The billionaires that own Cruz are spending massive amounts through SuperPacs.

Guess paid shills going door-to-door to apply pressure to voters on the behalf of billionaire Super PACs is called “grassroots activism” now.

When Saint Ted uses dirty Super PAC money it’s called “principled conservativism”.

As a Cruz fan, I am torn. I like the personal touch, but as a owner of an unoccupied home, I don't like during campaign season the flyers left that indicate my home is unguarded unless I check it daily to keep fliers from building up. It acts as a flag for robbers.

Well, if you don’t support people having the freedom to gamble for entertainment, I’m not sure what the point of the conversation would be. If you think Ted Cruz sending fake checks to old ladies is the same thing as people choosing to spend money in a casino, your mind is probably already settled and misleading donation solicitations or paid armies of fake supporters may not matter to you.

It’s fine, just a difference of opinion. Good luck to your candidate.

“They are like Jehova’s Witnesses. Don’t answer the door or you will never get them off your porch!”

I used to invite the J.W. to...Come right in!

Get a beer out of the fridge, and offer them the same.

They seldom come back.

it’s not worth the ill will

To the ultra-charismatic flock, it doesn't generate ill will. Look, the New Testament constantly reminds us of this 'Satanic' influence in the church - in fact, infiltration of the faithful is the church's greatest threat, not the non-believer.

The faithful forget that 'Satan' can quote the Bible better than any preacher. Folks are hearing the 'word' of God - but they fail to understand that they are being manipulated by it.

Hence they end up buying the minister a G650 Gulfstream with their child's lunch money. With Cruz, the spirit-filled are pinching pennies to pay for a part of Cruz's campaign while the hedge fund donor can give Cruz cash hoping not to pay his 6 billion dollar tax debt.

Please note that the RNC was using Trump to solicit money. Trump immediately told them to stop trying to get money from hard working folks and he released a press statement telling folks not to give to the RNC.

Now I ask you... who is a better person? Trump or Cruz? Note, I am not asking who claims to be more religious.

So you are saying Trump has no Super PAC money? Perhaps you are saying Trump has raised some Super PAC money but never spent it? Perhaps you mean that Trump never gave to elections or Super PACs? Maybe just mean Trump has raised less than other candidates?

Opps, just what did you mean?
