We're just one week away from the South Carolina primary and tonight the remaining six presidential candidates took the debate stage in Greenville to make a final push. Debate moderator John Dickerson opened the night with a moment of silence dedicated to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who died earlier today after serving for three decades on the high court.
The debate, hosted by CBS News, was certainly the most entertaining of the cycle with candidates repeatedly going after each other with an audience that loudly booed throughout the night.(snip)
2) Trump said Planned Parenthood does "many wonderful things for women's health" while trying at the same time to dismiss abortion. Keep in mind Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards makes this same argument in order to keep $500 million in taxpayer funding each year. The abortion giant repeatedly claims it only uses taxpayer money for women's health, not for abortion, ignoring the fact that money is fungible. Trump made that argument for Planned Parenthood tonight from the Republican, pro-life debate stage. There's also this:

Trump is pretending the money’s not fungible, which of course it is. That’s disingenuous. What bothers me even more is that all he has to do is say he supports women’s health, just not via PP. He won’t, as he is pivoting toward voters who adore PP rather than remaining with his base who despise them. If he nudges left on this issue, so incredibly important to conservatives, what issue won’t he nudge to the left on?

I doubt that. I used to be one before I got all worldly and backslid my way to eternal damnation.
Pastor had an affair with a married member. Member went to prison for molesting his daughter. Plus some lesser stuff.
Point is the evangelical community is just as sinful as the world they rail against. That is why most people don’t want to listen to their holier than thou sales pitch.
Either that or he doesn't understand business. One or the other.
In the meantime, he's making it cool to work for Planned Parenthood again, and he's slowing the effort to cut their funding, costing babies' lives.

The pro life sales pitch is valid, even if the pitchman is flawed.
“Anybody have any statistics on how many evangelicals have gotten abortions? What about divorces? Drunk driving? Tax evasion? Kiddie porn?”
What does it matter?
Trump is a deeply flawed candidate, and apparently around 50% of nominal Republicans are too blind to see it.
Seems he does not care enough to vote in Primary’s.

To a point it is, but sometimes it goes over the top to me.
I also have a hard time understanding how pro-lifers, can also be pro war, or pro death penalty. Not trying to stir the pot, but a little logical consistency would be nice.
Only ones out there who seem to be consistent are the Catholics, but they worship statues, too.
It’s hard to know who’s telling the truth.
I matters because Trump is an ass-kicker, not a punching bag for ass-kickers.

Sooooo, Cruz’s wife’s place of employment which happens to be a financial institute and place which is run by business men cannot employ the same practices that are nifty and alrighty for Trump to use as a business man such as donating to liberals( because it’s smart business as I’ve been told by Trumps supporters). Let me take a breath.
Oh that Ted Cruz he is a nasty creepy man. Go Trump you can do what no one else can cuz we are here to throw crap at the other candidate and hope it sticks for you! Goooooo Trump.
