Demeaning the possibility of treachery in high places as mere “conspiracy theory” is a great invention for intimidating people from questioning the government, our political leadership, and powerful people in general, though. The sinfulness of human nature makes treachery not only possible, however, but most likely to be going on all the time. We know corruption is a constant in politics.
