I’ve been wondering the same thing. Why did Trump attack Jeb so viciously last night? Surely he doesn’t consider Jeb a threat.
It definitely seemed personal. But maybe the one Trump really, really hates and could do nothing about is George W. Bush.

But Trump is not a stable or a normal person. Look how he reacted to Megyn Kelly. News people take digs at candidates all the time. Who would let it drive them nuts?

Jeb has spent some $120 M, a large fraction in negative adds against Trump. Trump has to respond to the lies, and it costs a lot of money and attempts to take him off message - good luck with that. What was Trump's message - something about "Make America Great Again" - did I get that right.
What is Bush's message - smug, smarmy, low energy, uh, oh, ummm my mommy says I should be your commander in chief.
