I couldn’t even tell you how many dead bodies that I have seen and handled over the years. A few of them were suspicious.
We got to one lady her husband just said she was in the bathroom and continued watching TV. When the paramedics arrived and asked about her medical history he wouldn’t tell us anything.
When we gave her a few breaths of oxygen and I started doing chest compressions... her hands came up and grabbed me. We stopped and checked her pulse. Her heart had started up, but then it would stop and we would blow a little more oxygen into her and start compressions and her hands would come up again like she was fighting with us. Then she would go limp within a few seconds. It happened all the way to the hospital.
We all suspected some sort of foul play, like she had been strangled but the police, and the doctors assumed because of her age it was natural. Her husband had her cremated immediately and nothing was ever done.
And yet because this was not an obvious Arkancide, the only way to thrust things like this into the light would be to have some kind of uniform law.
