"He stood up and said he was tired, he had had a long week and he would see us in the morning," he said.

The man was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, during a markedly unfriendly administration, in an isolated area, far from medical facilities, current health good enough to go hunting, in good spirits, only complaint was "tired" and in the morning he is dead.

He had nine kids and none of them think this is worth checking out?

Exactly. Very likely it was cardiac arrest. But how do
you not confirm?!? I accept it, but I don’t like it.

I was taught in nursing school, an unexpected death outside a health care facility required an autopsy. As does a death within a certain amount of time following a surgery. Seems like a decision the family came to quickly.

Sometimes it feels like it is all just slipping away.
