I would like to see Judge Andrew Napolitano as the next appointee to the Supreme Court but I doubt Obama will nominate him.

These "results" were collected in a what 12 - 14 hour period? Overnight to boot.

How can you give any weight to these supposed "numbers"?

There are lots of articles about challenges. The only articles with definitive, authoritative answers are in his favor.

Trump support is cult like? I have not heard a Trump supporter try to define exactly what one must say or do to be a real conservative or Christian. Seems to me that Trump Supporters allow people to be the individuals that God and the Constitution give us freedom to be. Cruz supporters expect people to conform to their rigid, defined standards or they blast them as Democrats or worse( if anything can be worse than that). Thank God for my personal freedoms that TRUMP SUPPORTS.

What’s being questioned, is whether he meets the Framers’ understanding of what a natural born citizen is.

There’s a huge difference between the two.

Wow... thank you for clearing that up. I don't think anyone knew that. / sarc

IMO, Cruz is the strongest candidate of both parties to pick the next SCOTUS justice and better at it than the current POTUS and VP.

Pelican Brief?

Scalia “is said” to have died of a heart attack
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/texas-tv-station-scalia-died-of-a-heart-attack/2016/02/14/938e2170-d332-11e5-9823-02b905009f99_story.html

Yet as details of his sudden death trickled in Sunday, it appeared that the hours afterward were anything but orderly. The man known for his elegant legal opinions and profound intellect was found dead in his room at a hunting resort by a ranch owner.

It then took hours for authorities in remote West Texas to find a justice of the peace, officials said Sunday. When they did, she pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body and decided not to order an autopsy.

A second justice of the peace, who was called but couldn’t get to Scalia’s body in time, said she would have ordered an autopsy.

“When this has been largely settled by every competent judicial review conducted”

So, he wasn’t born in Canada? Because, if he was, he’s not natural born, and if they declare him one, that’s called naturalization.

So you don’t think it is necessary that a Supreme has a law degree and that if Trump’s sister does then that should be enough qualification for Donald? And I love the way people stretch Trumps intelligence and assume he is America’s new Batman.......yeah you are right, stupid can’t be fixed.

Kind of like “but I did stay at a Holiday Inn”.

You really are ignorant, aren’t you? Of course, a judge has to have a law degree - duh! since you have such a brick between your ears, I’ll just let it got at this. You are too ignorant to understand and I won’t waste my breath with any further discussion. You are stuck on stupid.

“Of course, a judge has to have a law degree”

I hope you mean for the Supreme Court. Because otherwise that is completely false.

The last justice without a law degree was Stanley Reed, who served on the Court from 1938 to 1957.

Ted Cruz would actually make a pretty good Supreme Court Justice himself.

“Proponents of non-attorney judges wrap themselves in the fact the U.S. Constitution does not require members of the U.S. Supreme Court to hold law degrees. In 1941, Robert H. Jackson was the last justice to be appointed to the court without one.”

Cruz lobbied for someone else, Bush chose Roberts. Cruz thought that Roberts would be a good 2nd choice as many of us did. Cruz did support Roberts, but it wasn’t his 1st choice. We all had high hopes for Roberts.
He didn’t have a long resume, and it backfired on us all, but made him more palatable to get confirmed.
Bush didn’t want his nominee to get “Borked”.
Out of the last 9, Scalia, Alito, and Thomas, have been consistent.
Look who is left on the Rep POTUS stage, those with the most experience get whittled out.
Obama’s lack of government experience actually helped him win.
Frankly, it as what is helping Trump, Cruz, and Carson now, and to a lesser degree, Rubio.
Bush is, well, Bush.
Kasich was great as a congressman during the 1994 “Contract with America” days, but has become more of a centrist, unfortunately.

Really, I don’t want to get into it with you because I don’t think you can keep up. But seriously, you mention that lawyers are what is wrong with this country, yet you are obviously a Trumpbot, and I guess you don’t understand how many times your boy has threatened to sue someone in this campaign. What is wrong with you people?
