Not feeling good was the warning sign, same thing happened to my friends uncle who was much younger, didnt feel good, went to sit down, dropped dead immediately. In Scalia’s case I wouldnt be surprised if he died within minutes of going to bed. Absolutely horrible how that warning sign was missed, he should have gone to the hospital

Feeling bad just isn’t going to be looked at as a warning sign of anything but a temporary illness brought on by food, an injury or even just a bad smell or change in altitude unless someone has a history of heart problems-if everyone ran to a cardiac center every time they felt a bit off, they wouldn’t get much of anything else done. Death does happen, and only God decides when, unless we are killed-not we as individuals, the cardiac center, etc...

He would have been in big trouble if he had my Dr previously. He would have been scheduled to come in every two weeks to WEIGH, blood cholesterol levels every few months, diets, exercise plans, phone calls, emails etc.

Some Drs. really try to keep you alive. When I look around I wonder who some folks have for Dr.

If you ever find yourself saying to yourself that you PHYSICALLY feel "weird" then you and the world slows including your ability to speak, sit on the FLOOR not in a chair or the couch!! CPR is ineffective on a person laying on the couch, bed or in a chair.

Michael Jackson was on a bed when his doctor performed CPR. THIS LED TO HIS DEATH and HIS DOCTOR SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER.

If you are not on a hard surface when you finally succumb and there's only one other person in the room who can perform CPR on you, THEY WILL BE UNABLE TO GET YOU ON THE FLOOR ALL BY THEMSELVES, so sit or lay on the FLOOR/GROUND if you think you're having a heart attack!!

Cibolo Ranch Resort is in the remote village of Lajitas, far from the nearest hospital in Alpine, and on a holiday weekend, good luck with what staffing you would find any way. He was blessed to go to sleep in a comfortable bed and wake up in Heaven.

For perspective, Cibolo Creek Ranch is near Lajitas, TX -- deep in the Big Bend.

The nearest hospital is Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, TX.

Both are located in Brewster County, which is larger than some New England states.

It is, in fact, some 95 miles from Lajitas to Alpine -- and the 25-bed Big Bend Regional Medical Center.

On the other hand, there are worse places to die than within the shadow of the Chinatis.
