Well since Reagan got both Scalia and Kennedy in, it depends. Bush got Alito and Roberts in and both those presidents were at least at 50% success.

Besides all that, it take 2/3rds of the senate to get a nomination passed.

Seems to be an “iffy proposition”. Edit: It IS an “iffy proposition”!!!!!!!

Even OUR congress critters seem to “grow” after elected. Just wish they would ‘grow or lean’ the other way instead of left!!

No matter who is next we have no idea the results until we ‘see’ the results. To me adherence to the Constitution is the important thing now. Another lefty and think we are gone.

Not true.

First it has to get out of committee and to the floor for debate. Then it takes 60 votes to end debate & proceed to a vote, not 2/3.

Once to a vote, a simple majority carries.
